1: DFM Analysis & Tooling Design

We start with a detailed Design for Manufacturability (DFM) review to optimize draft angles, wall thickness, and cooling channels. High-grade steel tooling (such as H13) is then engineered to ensure tight tolerances, smooth cavity finishes, and extended mold life.

2: Aluminum High Pressure Die Casting

Operating high-pressure die-casting machines (280T to 1600T), we convert molten aluminum alloys (ADC12, YL102/AlSi12) into high-density structural housings. Using high-silicon alloys like YL102 ensures exceptional fluidity for thin-walled heat-sink fins without misruns.

3: Precision CNC Machining

Raw castings undergo multi-axis CNC machining to achieve critical dimensions. We focus on high-flatness mating faces, precision thread tapping, and accurate gasket sealing channels to facilitate flawless down-stream assembly by the customer.

4: Anti-Corrosion & Surface Treatment

We provide a full range of surface treatments including shot blasting, outdoor-grade powder coating, anodizing, and chromate conversion (e.g., SurTec 650) to ensure high corrosion resistance and weatherability against UV exposure and harsh outdoor environments.

Tooling development typically takes 35–55 days depending on the complexity and dimensions of the lighting enclosure. Once T1 samples are approved, standard mass production lead time is approximately 30–45 days.
